Advanced Placement Biology is designed to be taken by students after successful completion of high school biology and high school chemistry. This course is equivalent to a college introductory biology course and differs significantly from normal biology courses in high school due to text, depth of material, lab work, and time and effort required to master content. AP Bio requires dedication and an immense amount of study time. Please strive to do your best. What you get out of this class will be directly proportional to what you put into it! We will examine the critical importance of scientific developments (past, present and future) on today’s world and how they effect you.

Graphing in Science
You are expected to graph in science to show your results. Make sure you understand the basics of graphing line graphs, lines of best fit, scatter plots, and spread sheets. You will need to know the difference between the independent variable and dependent variable and label your graph properly.
